Move in, orientation, schedules, books, and meetings. It’s been a busy week around the campus of Champion. But the last activity scheduled before the students began classes, was the best. Ignite is a gathering of young people, believers and followers of Jesus, who desire to see God move.
A record number of students showed up to worship and hear a short message from Joel Suarez. There was information passed out about small groups and wings to be eaten. Although students have been busy, Ignite was that break they needed before starting classes.
As the message ended and a final worship song was played, students were moved to tears. They began breaking off into groups and praying together. Students finished the night worshipping together, seeing God move in such a powerful way. It was the perfect end to a busy week, but an amazing start to a great semester.
