The Christian General Studies Degree is designed for students who are having difficulty deciding on a specific course of study. This degree offers both an associate’s and a bachelor’s degree. This program helps to prepare students for work in numerous settings.
The program lays the foundation for a broad base of knowledge through the general core, Bible core, and a minor chosen by student. Students select a minor from the following various disciplines: sports management, business, math, Spanish, English, social studies, secondary life science, and physical education. This program seeks to prepare student’s professional and personal goals.
The Church Ministries Degrees offers programs in several areas of professional ministry: pastoral studies; youth and family; cross-cultural; and music. Each program offers a general and Bible core and many elective hours along with specialized ministry field classes.
The purpose of obtaining a Church Ministries degree is to prepare students who have a desire to work full-time as a pastor, youth pastor, missionary, or music minister. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for a productive and effective church ministry.
The Education Department is committed to providing the highest quality in Christian education based on the principles of the Bible and to preparing competent professionals for a career in teaching. The goal is to develop highly effective educators who know their content area and combine pedagogical skills with a Christian worldview in preparation to teach in Christian and private schools.
Christian school teachers are an invaluable asset to the church, school, home, community, and our nation. Champion Christian College offers a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with two minors or one major. Students interested in teaching junior or high school can choose from the following minors or majors: business, English, math, physical education, social studies, secondary life science, sports management, Spanish, criminal justice, worship leadership, music.
